HOW I LIVE AT HOME, SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY
My name is Michael Otieno from Mbugra Primary School. My home is near Mbugra and I go to school there. In our home we plant crops and others. My parents are Mr. and Mrs. John. They love me and I also love them. I like my home and I help my parents with house work on weekends.
I am happy with the Project (SMHPP) because people are employed from my area, I enjoy seeing so many vehicles, trucks and other heavy machinery around our home. I obey my parents because they give me food and cloth me and pay my fees. I am living well at our home and I ask God to bless us.
I was taken to School when I was about four years old. I was in nursery and I used to cry for food and my teacher would buy me some mandaz is to keep me calm. I continued like that until I joined class one. All the teachers knew me because I am very polite.
I liked sports when I joined upper primary but I could not play with the bigger boys. Our club is called Young Stars and we play during games time everyday with others. We are small kids but you can run away when you see us play Football.
I go to Library every weekend and I like reading story books because they teach me many things. Library is good because there are many books I can read. My life at School is good and every pupil loves me and I also love them.
I thank my community because they helped orphans and old people. In our clan I am known and I live happily. I also have respect for people around me.
I would like to thank Mr. Sakoda (Project Engineer SMHPP) and other staff who set the library. Those who work there I thank them for taking care of us and for the books. I am asking them to teach us so that we can learn more. When I go to class five I will come to will keep on going to the library so that I can read more books.
I live well in the community and I love everybody and I believe they love me too.
